We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sustainable Agriculture Consultant to join our team in Bonthe, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise and support to the implementation of sustainable agriculture practices and climate-resilient agriculture in Sierra Leone. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sustainable agriculture practices and climate-resilient agriculture strategies
- Provide technical assistance to farmers, agricultural extension agents, and other stakeholders
- Conduct field visits to monitor and evaluate the implementation of sustainable agriculture practices
- Develop and disseminate educational materials and training programs on sustainable agriculture practices
- Collaborate with other stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector organizations
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field
- 2-3 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, climate-resilient agriculture, or related field
- Strong knowledge of sustainable agriculture practices and climate-resilient agriculture
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.
Experience
2-3 years of experience in sustainable agriculture, climate-resilient agriculture, or related field.
Salary
SSP 5,000,000 – 8,000,000 per month.
