Job Overview: We are seeking a Digital Forestry Specialist to join our team in Kenema, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions to support our forestry and conservation efforts. This will include designing and implementing digital tools and platforms to monitor and manage forest resources, as well as providing training and technical assistance to local communities and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement digital solutions to support forestry and conservation efforts

  • Collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable solutions to environmental challenges

Required Skills:

  • Strong technical skills in digital solutions development and implementation
  • Experience in forestry and conservation, particularly in digital solutions development and implementation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with local communities, governments, and other stakeholders

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field

Experience: 5-7 years of experience in digital solutions development and implementation, particularly in forestry and conservation

Salary: SSP 50,000 – 70,000 per annum
