2021- 2024 Community Engagement and behavioral Change Coordinator –Pujehun District. Save the Children International- Project Title: Momentum Country and Global Leadership -USAID {MCGL Community Health program}  In collaboration with the District Health Management Team {DHMT Social Mob} Completed project familiarization visit with key community support stakeholders & re-activated project support structures (FMCs, VDCs, MSGs, CHWs, and ASRH Focal) in 15 health facilities across Pujehun district.  Mapped and initiated comprehensive database of project community stakeholders and other beneficiaries for quality project delivery.  Foster and strengthened community inclusiveness and developed a two-way communication community health behaviour change strategy on ASRH, Family Planning, Nutrition, MNCH, MNH, Early ANC Attendance, Hygiene, prevention and control and PPFP acceptance ETC.  Conduct community dialog seasons at selected operational communities, facilitate discussions and meetings with community structures or members and make visits to follow up on action plans.  Worked closely with the District Nutritionist to trained / capacitate the Lead mothers / Mothers support groups in all our operational communities through using nutritional counselling cards and books.  Lead the implementation of a robust communication strategy for effective sensitization to reduced community relaxation on prevention and control in the communities through effective stakeholder’s engagement.  Also undertake community engagement and social behavioural change communication activities in the community to drive change in behaviours from the use of unhygienic public toilets and open defecation and to create social demand for household toilets, to ensure effective community mobilization and engagement using different behavioural change communication tools and strategies to drive a change on the need for safe, hygienic and private household toilet.  Developed Behavioural change communication action plans in all operational communities and behavioural change communication performance monitoring plans for the project implementation.  Lead all community awareness raising campaign events including interpersonal house to house sensitization with health behaviour change hygienic messages.  Engaged community leadership including traditional authorities, religious leaders, Local elected officials, youth women’s leader groups within the community.  Complete all SBCC weekly and monthly activity report.  Worked closely with health care in-charges and community health care workers and strengthened community referrals on all health issues.  Designs and implements surveillance systems (including monitoring of rumours, misconceptions, reports and beliefs on SRH Issues.  Creates and maintains on-going link with DHMT, and other health implementing partners.  Facilitate the analysis of priority risk behaviours for diseases and health emergencies together with identification of key messages and priority audience.  Leads the development and dissemination of SBCC campaigns and materials on disease prevention and control as well as emergency health communication interventions.  Generated 50 media briefs, numbers of reports, 15 success stories, and program documentation as requested.  Promoted BCC through IEC messages on COVID and disease surveillance/case management.  Led the training of 250 Community Health Workers, Facility Management Committee members, and health peer supervisors on Social Behavioural and Risk Communication Change in how community dispel rumours on health emergency response.  Serves as key focal point for all SBCC health programming at Save The Children Pujehun field base.  Attended district level engagement on one Health with the District Health Management Team and other Health implementing partners.  A strong member of the ONE HEALTH platform Pujehun District  Established strong working relationship with the District Health Medical Team, Pujehun district, with key impact on joint community engagement activities, fostering two-way communication feedback mechanism, initiated communication links to dispel rumours and misinformation on key disease health emerging issues during COVID 19 context.  Initiated quality program report using both qualitative and quantitative data collection method.  Provided budget forecast, developed monthly activity plan and spend within the required budget lines.  Conducted numbers of field supervision visit to project operational communities, provided program and technical support to community stakeholders, project volunteers and community support structures.
