Job Overview

The International Trade Specialist will be responsible for managing the import and export of goods for our clients in Sierra Leone. This will involve coordinating with suppliers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all shipments are compliant with relevant regulations and laws.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations. They will also have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the import and export of goods for clients in Sierra Leone
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and laws, including customs procedures and international trade agreements
• Communicate with suppliers, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
• Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Collaborate with other teams, including logistics and operations, to ensure smooth delivery of services

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration
• At least 5 years of experience in international trade, logistics, or a related field
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications, including logistics management systems

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in international trade, logistics, or a related field
