Job Overview

We are seeking a Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) Specialist to lead our water and sanitation initiatives in Makeni. • Prepare comprehensive project reports and budget forecasts for donors.

Required Skills

• Technical expertise in water engineering and hygiene promotion methodologies.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting and risk mitigation.
• Ability to engage rural communities and build stakeholder relationships.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and Krio.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and data collection tools.

Education

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

Experience

A minimum of five years of progressive professional experience in managing WASH programs within an international development or humanitarian context is required.
