Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Makeni, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geotechnical investigations, analyzing data, and providing recommendations for construction projects. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site investigations and laboratory testing
• Analyze data and provide recommendations for foundation design and construction
• Develop and implement geotechnical engineering plans and specifications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including construction, engineering, and project management
• Ensure compliance with international and local regulations and standards

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
• Proficiency in geotechnical software, such as PLAXIS and LPILE
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field from a recognized university.

Experience

5-10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, preferably in a construction or consulting firm.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 5,000,000 – 10,000,000 per month.
