Job Overview:ERM is seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Kambia, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing environmental management plans, and providing technical expertise to clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, excellent communication skills, and experience working in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for clients in the energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors
- Develop environmental management plans and mitigation measures to minimize environmental impacts
- Provide technical expertise to clients on environmental regulations and standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects and meet client expectations
Required Skills:
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and management
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Experience working in a consulting environment
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards
