Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment Specialist to join our team in Kambia, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting environmental impact assessments, developing environmental management plans, and providing environmental consulting services to our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science, a proven track record of conducting environmental impact assessments, and excellent communication and project management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental impact assessments for various projects, including infrastructure development, mining, and energy production
- Develop environmental management plans to mitigate the environmental impacts of projects
- Provide environmental consulting services to clients, including environmental due diligence and sustainability consulting
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure that environmental considerations are integrated into project planning and execution
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and government agencies
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 8-12 years of experience in environmental impact assessment and environmental consulting
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and policies in Sierra Leone
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
