Job Overview

The Agricultural Operations Manager will lead Cargill’s farm and supply chain activities in the Pujehun district, overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of crop production, procurement, and logistics. Reporting to the Regional Director, the manager will collaborate with local farmer cooperatives, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to ensure high‑quality produce meets both local and export standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive agricultural operation plans that align with Cargill’s strategic goals.
• Manage day‑to‑day farm activities, including planting schedules, input distribution, and harvest coordination.
• Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of seeds, fertilizers, and equipment.
• Monitor crop performance, implement agronomic best practices, and drive yield improvements.
• Oversee logistics and transportation of harvested produce to processing facilities and export points.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations, food safety standards, and Cargill’s sustainability policies.
• Build and nurture relationships with farmer groups, extension services, and community leaders.
• Prepare regular performance reports, budgets, and forecasts for senior management.

Salary

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from 2,500,000 to 4,000,000 SSP per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based incentives and bonuses are also part of the compensation package.
