Job Overview
Sierra Leone Job Search is pleased to announce the availability of a Digital Asset Management Specialist position at Thomson Reuters in Kenema, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s digital assets, including images, videos, and documents.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital asset management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will also have experience with digital asset management software and be familiar with metadata standards and best practices.
The Digital Asset Management Specialist will work closely with the marketing, communications, and IT teams to ensure that digital assets are properly managed, maintained, and made available to stakeholders. The candidate will also be responsible for developing and implementing digital asset management policies and procedures, as well as providing training and support to users.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company’s digital assets, including images, videos, and documents
- Develop and implement digital asset management policies and procedures
- Provide training and support to users on digital asset management software and best practices
- Work closely with the marketing, communications, and IT teams to ensure that digital assets are properly managed and maintained
- Ensure that digital assets are properly tagged and described with metadata
- Develop and maintain a taxonomy of digital assets
- Ensure that digital assets are properly backed up and archived
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in digital asset management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with digital asset management software
- Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices
