Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Digital Cartographer to join our team in Makeni, Sierra Leone. As a Digital Cartographer, you will play a critical role in creating and updating digital maps and geospatial data. Key Responsibilities

• Design, create, and update digital maps and geospatial datasets.
• Work with various GIS software and tools to analyze and visualize spatial data.
• Collaborate with surveyors, geographers, and other stakeholders to gather and integrate data.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of cartographic products.
• Provide technical support and training to users of GIS products.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar.
• Strong understanding of cartographic principles and mapping techniques.
• Experience with spatial data analysis and visualization.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Cartography, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Geography, or a related field.

Experience

2-5 years of experience in digital cartography, GIS, or a related field.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 per month.
