Job Overview

The Downstream Operations Supervisor will lead a team responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of Chevron’s downstream facilities, including storage terminals, distribution pipelines, and fuel retail outlets. Reporting to the Downstream Operations Manager, the supervisor ensures optimal performance, adherence to regulatory standards, and alignment with corporate safety and environmental policies. This position plays a pivotal role in maintaining product quality, managing inventory, and coordinating with logistics partners to meet market demand. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of storage terminals, loading bays, and fuel distribution networks.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor product quality, manage inventory levels, and coordinate timely deliveries to retail partners.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective action implementation.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development support.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and maintenance departments to optimize supply chain efficiency.
• Prepare operational reports, KPI dashboards, and regulatory filings for senior management.
• Drive continuous improvement projects using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Required Skills

Education

Experience

Applicants must have a minimum of five years of progressive experience in downstream operations, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Experience within multinational oil corporations operating in West Africa is preferred.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 2,500,000 to SSP 4,000,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with performance‑based incentives.
