Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Geophysics Research Scientist to join our team in Kambia, Sierra Leone. As a Geophysics Research Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and providing technical expertise in the field of geophysics, with a focus on the geology of Sierra Leone.
You will work closely with our team of scientists and support staff to design and implement research projects, collect and analyze data, and communicate your findings to stakeholders. You will also be responsible for providing technical advice and support to our clients and partners, and for contributing to the development of our research and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement research projects in the field of geophysics, with a focus on the geology of Sierra Leone
- Collect and analyze data using a range of techniques, including seismic surveys and rock sampling
- Communicate research findings to stakeholders, including clients, partners and the public
- Provide technical advice and support to clients and partners
- Contribute to the development of our research and services
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Geophysics or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in geophysics research and/or industry
- Strong technical skills in geophysics, including seismic surveys and rock sampling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
