Job Overview

The Humanitarian Program Officer will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of community‑based projects aimed at improving food security, health outcomes, and livelihood resilience in the Waterloo district. Reporting to the Program Manager, you will coordinate with field staff, local NGOs, and government officials to ensure that program activities are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with IRC standards. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement project work plans, budgets, and timelines aligned with IRC strategic objectives.
• Conduct needs assessments, baseline surveys, and participatory community consultations.
• Monitor project activities, ensuring compliance with donor regulations and IRC quality standards.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual progress reports for donors and senior management.

Education

Experience

Salary
