Job Overview
We are seeking a Marine Conservation Biologist to lead our conservation efforts in Sierra Leone. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective conservation strategies for marine protected areas in Sierra Leone
- Work closely with local communities and stakeholders to develop and implement conservation projects
- Lead our team of conservationists and provide technical guidance and support
- Collaborate with other organizations and stakeholders to promote sustainable fishing practices and protect the marine environment
- Develop and manage project budgets and reports
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in marine biology, conservation biology, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in marine conservation, with a proven track record of working with local communities and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and lead a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
