Job Overview

The Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist will lead the design, implementation, and management of M&E systems for UNDP’s portfolio of projects in Sierra Leone. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to assess project performance.

  • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure data integrity for budgeting and reporting.
  • Support the development of knowledge products that disseminate findings to a broader audience.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical software (e.g., SPSS, Stata, R).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including report writing.
  • Experience in designing logical frameworks and results‑based management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials and NGOs.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an asset.

Education
