Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive network performance analysis using advanced monitoring tools.
  • Develop and implement optimization strategies to improve coverage, capacity, and quality of service.
  • Collaborate with radio planning, RF, and core network teams to align optimization efforts with overall network design.
  • Perform drive tests and field measurements to validate optimization outcomes.
  • Generate detailed reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance network performance.

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of LTE, 5G, and GSM network architectures.
  • Proficiency with network analysis tools such as Atoll, TEMS, or similar.
  • Excellent problem‑solving abilities and data‑driven decision making.
  • Effective communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently in remote field locations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in Sierra Leone.

Education

A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required. Advanced certifications in network optimization or radio planning are considered a plus.

Experience

Applicants should have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in network optimization, performance monitoring, or a similar role within the telecommunications sector. Experience working in emerging markets or with mobile operators in Africa will be highly valued.

Salary
