Job Description (General Overview)

These roles support AHF’s mission to deliver HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment, and care services, including antiretroviral therapy, community outreach, laboratory diagnostics, health system strengthening, and data-driven program management.

1. Nurse Role Summary (Waterloo Clinic)

• Provide direct patient care and triage services
• Support HIV/AIDS treatment and ART adherence
• Perform clinical procedures including phlebotomy and wound care
• Assist in patient follow-up and support group formation
• Collaborate with community health officers and medical teams

Requirements:

• Diploma in Nursing
• 3+ years HIV clinical experience
• Registered with Nursing Council

2. Prevention Program Coordinator (South-East Region)

• Lead HIV prevention programs and outreach activities
• Manage HCT, index testing, and community mobilization
• Strengthen partnerships with CBOs and NGOs
• Support youth and key population programs

3. Community Health Officer (Magburaka)
