Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional for this critical Job Vacancy in Sierra Leone, offering one of the most impactful Jobs in Sierra Leone. The WASH Project Manager will lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of our comprehensive WASH initiatives in Makeni and surrounding rural areas. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, planning, and execution of all WASH infrastructure projects, including water points and latrines.
• Manage project budgets, work plans, and procurement processes to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with local government authorities and community leaders.
• Conduct regular field monitoring visits to assess project quality and track progress.
• Prepare high-quality donor reports and project updates highlighting the impact of our interventions.

Required Skills

• Strong technical knowledge of water supply systems, sanitation facilities, and hygiene promotion methodologies.
• Proven project management skills, including budget tracking and team leadership in an NGO setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and Krio, with strong report-writing capabilities.
• Proficiency in engineering design software and standard office applications.

Education

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Public Health, or a closely related field.

Experience

A minimum of five years of progressive professional experience in managing WASH projects within the humanitarian or development sector is required.
