Job Overview
The Child Protection Officer will lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of child protection interventions in Bo and surrounding districts. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive child protection assessments to identify at‑risk children and families in Bo and neighboring districts.
- Develop and implement case management plans in collaboration with local NGOs, government agencies, and community volunteers.
- Facilitate capacity‑building workshops for partners on child protection standards, reporting mechanisms, and psychosocial support.

Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, International Development, Psychology, Human Rights, or a related discipline is required. A Master’s degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., Child Protection Specialist) are highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of three to five years of hands‑on experience in child protection, humanitarian programming, or related fields. Prior experience working with UN agencies, NGOs, or government ministries in Sierra Leone or comparable contexts is strongly preferred.
Salary
