Job Overview
The Solar Panel Installation Supervisor will oversee the end‑to‑end installation of photovoltaic (PV) systems for utility‑scale and commercial projects in the Koidu region. Reporting to the Project Manager, the supervisor will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage site logistics, ensure compliance with engineering specifications, and uphold rigorous health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise installation crews of electricians, technicians, and contractors on solar PV sites.
- Develop detailed installation plans, work schedules, and resource allocation matrices.
- Ensure all installations comply with international standards (IEC 61730, IEC 61215) and local regulations.
- Conduct on‑site quality inspections, performance testing, and commissioning procedures.
- Manage procurement, delivery, and inventory of solar modules, inverters, mounting structures, and ancillary equipment.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) teams to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, progress reports, and safety documentation.
- Implement and enforce strict HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies, conducting toolbox talks and incident investigations.
- Engage with local authorities and community stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, installation techniques, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, single‑line diagrams, and construction drawings.
- Excellent leadership, team‑building, and conflict‑resolution abilities.
- Effective communication skills in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of safety standards, risk assessment, and emergency response.

Education
