Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit assessments for corporate and SME loan applications, including financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and industry risk evaluation.
- Prepare detailed credit risk reports and present findings to credit committees and senior management.
- Monitor the performance of existing loan portfolios, identify early warning signs, and recommend remedial actions.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements and Standard Chartered’s internal risk policies.
- Collaborate with relationship managers to structure credit solutions that align with client needs and risk appetite.
- Maintain and update credit risk databases, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Participate in stress testing exercises and scenario analysis to gauge portfolio resilience.

Education
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as CFA, FRM, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Applicants should possess 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or loan underwriting within a banking or financial services environment. Experience in the West African market, particularly Sierra Leone, will be considered an asset.
Salary
The compensation package ranges from SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 2,000,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The package includes performance‑based bonuses and other incentives aligned with the bank’s remuneration framework.
