Job Overview
Microsoft Sierra Leone is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our data center, ensuring that our systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.
The Data Center Operations Manager will work closely with our IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, implement new technologies and processes, and develop and maintain our data center operations policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the data center, ensuring that systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.
- Work closely with the IT team to identify and resolve technical issues, implement new technologies and processes, and develop and maintain data center operations policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve data center efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that data center operations are aligned with business objectives and goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and partners to ensure that data center operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
Required Skills
- 8-12 years of experience in data center operations, IT, or a related field.
- Proven track record of managing and maintaining data center operations, including systems, infrastructure, and personnel.
- Strong technical skills, including knowledge of data center infrastructure, networking, and security.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience
8-12 years of experience in data center operations, IT, or a related field.
Salary
SSP 80,000 – SSP 120,000 per annum.
