Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geological Surveyor to join our team in Kambia, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting geological surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and providing expert advice to stakeholders.
The Geological Surveyor will work closely with our team of geologists, geophysicists, and geochemists to achieve our goals and objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong background in geology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geological surveys and collect data using a range of techniques, including field observations, sampling, and laboratory analysis.
- Analyze data and provide expert advice to stakeholders on geological issues.
- Work closely with our team of geologists, geophysicists, and geochemists to achieve our goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and local communities.
- Contribute to the development of our geological knowledge and expertise, and to the improvement of our services.
Required Skills
- Master’s degree in Geology or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in geological surveying or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to meet deadlines.
Education
