Job Purpose
The Grant and Compliance Manager will oversee donor compliance, grants management, audit support, reporting quality, and information management across the Sierra Leone Programme. Key Duties and Responsibilities
1. Grant Management & Donor Compliance
The selected candidate will:
- Coordinate grant documentation for active and archived grants
- Ensure compliance with donor agreements and organizational policies
- Lead donor compliance sessions during proposal development workshops
- Support grant startup workshops and donor awareness activities
- Develop and implement grant management capacity-building plans for staff and partners
- Ensure service level agreements are established for grants
2. Proposal Development & Programme Coordination

3. Audit Facilitation & Risk Management
The Grant and Compliance Manager will:
- Coordinate donor audits with finance teams

- Mentoring and supporting local implementing partners
- Delivering technical guidance and capacity strengthening workshops
- Supporting technical partner assessments
- Promoting equitable partnerships and partner recognition

Education Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Project Management, International Development, NGO Management, Public Administration, Accounting, or another relevant discipline
Additional certifications in Grant Management, Compliance, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), Audit, Risk Management, Humanitarian Coordination, or Donor Reporting will be highly advantageous.
Experience Requirements
Minimum Experience: 5+ Years Relevant Experience
Grant Management Experience: Minimum 2 Years
