About the Project
The Project Clerk will support the implementation of the project titled:
“Empowering Communities Through Gender-Responsive Local Governance: Building Institutional Capacity for Inclusive Service Delivery.”
The three-year initiative is funded by the Embassy of Iceland and aims to strengthen gender-responsive local governance systems across five districts in Sierra Leone. The project focuses on improving access to quality services, resources, and opportunities for women, youth, girls, and vulnerable communities while promoting inclusive participation in social and economic development.
Job Summary
The Project Clerk will provide administrative, logistical, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting support to the project team. The successful candidate will assist with programme implementation, data management, event coordination, financial tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Administrative & Programme Support
- Assist in preparing programme work plans, budgets, and implementation arrangements
- Support routine delivery and reporting of project activities and finances
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for workshops, meetings, trainings, and field missions
- Draft meeting minutes and maintain organized filing systems
- Prepare presentations, reports, and briefing materials for project activities
- Support travel arrangements and administrative documentation for programme staff
Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting
- Support routine monitoring of project activities and budgets
- Assist with data entry, validation, cleaning, and analysis
- Maintain programme trackers, indicators, deliverables, and reporting deadlines
- Prepare summaries of project achievements and monitoring mission reports
- Support impact evaluations, baseline studies, and learning reviews
