Cargill is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Agriculture Extension Officer to join our team in Koidu, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the adoption of digital agriculture technologies among smallholder farmers, providing training and support to farmers, and collaborating with local partners to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital agriculture extension programs for smallholder farmers
- Provide training and support to farmers on the use of digital agriculture technologies
- Collaborate with local partners to improve agricultural productivity and sustainability
- Conduct field visits to monitor progress and provide feedback to farmers
- Develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including farmers, extension agents, and community leaders
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in agriculture extension or a related field
- Strong knowledge of digital agriculture technologies and their applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and build strong relationships with local stakeholders
