Job Overview
The Agricultural Extension Officer will be responsible for providing technical support to farmers and farming communities in Port Loko, Sierra Leone. The successful candidate will have a strong background in agriculture and experience working with farming communities.
The Agricultural Extension Officer will work closely with local farmers, farming groups and other stakeholders to promote sustainable agricultural practices, improve crop yields and enhance food security.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to farmers and farming communities on sustainable agricultural practices
- Conduct training sessions and workshops on agricultural extension services
- Develop and implement agricultural extension programs to improve crop yields and enhance food security
- Collaborate with local farmers, farming groups and other stakeholders to promote sustainable agriculture
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of agricultural extension programs
Key Responsibilities
