Job Overview

The Sustainable Agriculture Project Coordinator will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Cargill’s flagship sustainable farming initiatives in the Southern Province. Reporting to the Regional Agronomy Manager, the coordinator will collaborate with local farmer groups, government agencies, NGOs, and internal stakeholders to implement best‑practice agronomic techniques, soil health programs, and climate adaptation strategies. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement sustainable agriculture pilots focusing on soil fertility, water management, and pest control.
• Conduct regular field visits to monitor project progress, collect agronomic data, and provide technical guidance to farmer groups.
• Facilitate training workshops and knowledge‑exchange sessions for smallholder farmers and extension officers.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports, impact assessments, and presentations for senior management and external partners.

Education

Experience

Applicants must have 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience coordinating agricultural projects, preferably within a multinational agribusiness or development organization. Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from 1,500,000 to 2,200,000 SSP, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary is paid monthly and includes statutory benefits as per Sierra Leone labor regulations.
