We are now expanding our operations in Sierra Leone and are looking for a Fashion Design and Textile Production Manager to lead our design and production team in Makeni.

Job Overview

The Fashion Design and Textile Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design and production of our clothing lines in Sierra Leone. This role involves managing a team of designers, production staff, and suppliers to ensure efficient and high-quality production processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, textile science, and production management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of designers, pattern makers, and production staff to ensure efficient production processes.
• Develop and implement design concepts, patterns, and prototypes for new clothing lines.
• Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor and control production costs, ensuring budget targets are met.
• Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure high standards of production.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in fashion design and production management.
• Strong knowledge of textile science, garment construction, and quality control.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.

Education

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or a related field from a reputable institution.

Experience

Applicants should have at least 3-5 years of experience in fashion design and production management, preferably in a similar industry.

Salary

The salary range for this position is SSP 6,000,000 – 12,000,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
