Job Overview

The Production Supervisor will lead a shift team responsible for the efficient, safe, and quality‑driven operation of the bottling line. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will coordinate daily production schedules, monitor equipment performance, enforce strict hygiene standards, and ensure compliance with both corporate and local regulatory requirements. This role is pivotal in achieving target output, minimizing downtime, and maintaining the high standards that Coca‑Cola is renowned for. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate a team of operators, technicians, and support staff during assigned shifts.
• Plan and execute daily production schedules to meet volume targets while adhering to quality specifications.
• Monitor equipment performance, conduct routine checks, and coordinate preventive maintenance with the Maintenance Engineer.
• Enforce strict health, safety, and environmental protocols, conducting regular safety briefings and audits.
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, batch logs, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to ensure product specifications are consistently met.
• Manage inventory of raw materials and packaging supplies, coordinating with the Supply Chain team to avoid shortages.
• Provide on‑the‑job training and mentorship to new hires and junior staff.

Required Skills

• Strong leadership and team‑building abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
• Proficiency in using manufacturing execution systems (MES) and basic computer applications.
• Solid understanding of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
• Effective communication in English; knowledge of Krio is an advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.

Education

A Diploma or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in safety or quality management are considered a plus.

Experience

Minimum of 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in a beverage or food production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Experience with bottling lines, automated equipment, and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable.

Salary

The successful candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based incentives and annual bonuses are also part of the compensation package.
