Job Overview
The Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator will manage end‑to‑end logistics operations for the Bo bottling plant, coordinating inbound raw material deliveries, outbound finished goods distribution, and internal material handling. You will work closely with procurement, production, sales, and external logistics partners to optimize routes, reduce costs, and maintain service excellence. This position plays a pivotal role in sustaining the reliability of our supply chain, directly impacting product availability and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and monitor inbound shipments of raw materials, ensuring timely receipt and compliance with quality standards.
- Coordinate outbound distribution of finished beverages to regional distributors, retailers, and export partners.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP systems, reconciling discrepancies promptly.
- Collaborate with third‑party logistics providers to negotiate rates, service levels, and performance metrics.
- Analyze transportation data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve route efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local customs, import/export regulations, and safety protocols.
- Prepare regular logistics performance reports for senior management, highlighting key KPIs such as on‑time delivery, freight cost per unit, and inventory turnover.
- Support cross‑functional projects aimed at enhancing supply chain resilience and sustainability.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in Excel and ERP logistics modules.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for managing vendor relationships.
- Knowledge of local transportation infrastructure and customs procedures in Sierra Leone.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to make data‑driven decisions under pressure.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and cultures.
Education
A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is required. Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCMP SCPro are advantageous but not mandatory.
Experience
Applicants should have 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in logistics coordination, preferably within a manufacturing or FMCG environment. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and familiarity with freight forwarding processes are essential.
Salary
The monthly salary range for this role is SSP 1,200,000 to SSP 1,800,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Performance‑based bonuses and incentives may be offered.
