Job Purpose

The Project Officer (CTGA) will support the day-to-day implementation of an integrated project designed to empower young mothers aged 15–24 and their children through education, skills development, and economic empowerment initiatives.

The role requires active engagement in field activities, mentoring support, community mobilization, stakeholder coordination, and project monitoring to ensure activities are delivered according to project frameworks, timelines, and donor agreements.

Key Job Responsibilities

Community Engagement & Sensitization

The Project Officer will:

  • Collaborate with community champions, local authorities, and stakeholders to strengthen community participation
  • Conduct awareness and sensitization sessions to educate communities on project goals and benefits

  • Coordinate with local education stakeholders to improve educational access

Early Childhood Development (ECD)

Main duties include:

  • Promoting Early Childhood Development (ECD) enrollment for young mothers’ children
  • Linking children to ECD centers and learning services
  • Supporting teacher training workshops and learning material development
